Hi everyone here are a few pictures of the day John got his car all thanks to a friend of mine Paul Casey. Right after the new movie Collier & Co Hot pursuit where Paul Casey wrote and sang the sound track “Travller” for the Movie. Paul paid me to build the cars for him to give to John and so he could have one as well. If you would like to visit his site

I built only two of these cars one for John and one for Paul and in the pictures below you will see a picture of John and Paul together the day John got his car. Paul presented the car to John Schneider after a day of golf “Lucky Bum Ha Ha” and In one of the pictures John Schneider is signing a picture for ME "On top of the traveler I built for him" The other picture is a scan of the picture I got that he signed for me.

I did a bunch of custom decals for these little guys. I made white gage faces for them and even the brass plate that goes on the dash. I also made the K&N decal for the window click on the link to the picture of the dash because it is real big so you can zoom in on it and see how I wrote on the brass plate "Bo's General Lee 12/97" like the real one.
Also I had to make a back seats for these cars because they didn't come with back seats. So I made one that fit then molded it to cast them in resin. they fit right in without any modifications and then a little putty to smooth them out and I was set.

OK everyone I will let the cat out of the bag The Traveler was built for John Schneider he got it 2/5/07.

That’s why I did all the little details like white gage faces "Decals" and a buddy seat "I made from scratch then cast in resin" custom roll bar and I even cast and made the fire extinguisher. I also made SE decals for the B pillars because his car has them and put black carpet in it. I also painted the dash to look like it had wood panels on it and I made aluminum exhaust tips on both cars.

The decals for this car to build a model of it will soon be available on my decals page to go to my decals page

Well when I did the wood I wasn’t sure on how to do it that small so I tried a few ways tell I got it to look the way I wanted it to look.

In the end what I did was.....

#1 paint the dash tan

#2 then paint the wood part light brown (not letting it dry all the way between steps was a BIG Key in making it work)

#3 I dipped my brush in Dark brown paint (I almost did a dry brushing but with a twist)

#4What I did was dry the paint out of the brush like I was going to dry brush it then I dipped the brush in lacquer thinner

#5 use the thinned out dark brown paint (but it still needs to have some thick dark brown paint in the brush that’s what makes it work) and make your wood affect By using the thinner you will cut though the Light Brown in places to the Tan but at the same time you will be putting down Dark Brown that’s how I got it to look that way Hope this helps and good luck
